To assist international students of Tokyo Institute of Technology through:
providing counselling and support services
providing Japanese language and culture education
research to improve the quality of these services.
History
April 1988 Education Center for Foreign Students founded.
1990 Office for Intercultural Affairs founded.
June 1994 The International Student Center was created from the merger of the Education Center for Foreign Students and Office for Intercultural Affairs. This provided the university with an educational research which could handle the increasing number and needs of international students.
